Help Support The Mckay School of Education
Many of our students at the McKay School are supported by donor-funded scholarships, like Eden Gabbitas. Growing up, Eden often felt like she was “a statistic on a spreadsheet,” she recalls. “[School] felt very focused on grades and results. And while those are important, I often felt like I didn’t matter.”
It wasn’t until Eden came to study at BYU that she experienced teachers who cared about her as a whole person. “I felt like I mattered to my professors,” she says. “I am in awe of the care they give their students and how they build them up not just academically but also spiritually.”
