Giving Cougsday has been a tradition at BYU for many years. It is an opportunity to show some school spirit in support of BYU’s Inspiring Learning Initiative.
Currently the college has more than 3,400 students studying in 35 degree programs and 11 minor programs. The college comprises the Department of Art, School of Communications, Department of Dance, Department of Design, School of Music, and Department of Theatre and Media Arts.
Highlights
- BYU’s touring groups are world renowned. Students in the college present hundreds of performances each year on campus and around the world.
- The School of Communications is home to the acclaimed AdLab, which is a professionally mentored, student-led advertising agency.
- The BYU Center for Animation, an interdisciplinary program, is a perennial winner of national awards and is always highly ranked among animation programs.
- The Museum of Art presents world-class exhibitions and is a resource for students, faculty, and the broader BYU community.
